Blueprints are something everyone has in Rocket League.
But with so many that exist separating the worthless from the rare and expensive can be difficult.
So in this blog, we will show you how to determine which blueprints are rare enough to sell for a lot of Credits!
You may or may not know but Blueprints didn’t always exist in Rocket League. In fact, they only got introduced on December 4th, 2019. Before that Rocket League had something called crates, and instead of Credits, we had keys as the currency.
100 Credits was worth 1 Rocket League Key. Now, these keys were special as they could be used to open up crates. Crates were like a random loot box where getting good items were extremely rare. In fact, there was a 1% chance of getting a Black Market out of a Crate!
Crates added a lot of fun to Rocket League, but unfortunately due to it being randomized, it was seen as a form of gambling. Rocket League recognized this and decided to replace Crates with Blueprints.
Just like Crates, Blueprints get randomly dropped after games but Blueprints shows what item it is and the price it would cost to craft the item. This meant players knew the item that they’d be crafting which removed the gambling aspect.
Blueprint crafting costs can vary based on multiple factors such as rarities, paints, type and special edition items. Please note there are different crafting prices for Decals/Wheels/Bodies. The most expensive are Wheels, Bodies and Goal Explosions and then there’s everything else. Here are the following rarities crafting costs:
Rare Blueprints:
Unpainted/Burnt Sienna = 50/100 Credits to craft
Titanium White = 150/200 Credits to craft
All other paints = 100/150 Credits to craft
Very Rare Blueprints:
Unpainted/Burnt Sienna = 200 Credits to craft
Titanium White = 200 Credits to craft
All other paints = 300 Credits to craft
Very Rare Special Edition Blueprints:
Unpainted/Burnt Sienna = 400 Credits to craft
Titanium White = 600 Credits to craft
All other paints = 500 Credits to craft
Import Blueprints:
Unpainted/Burnt Sienna = 400/500 Credits to craft
Titanium White = 700/800 Credits to craft
All other paints = 600/700 Credits to craft
Import Special Edition Blueprints:
Unpainted/Burnt Sienna = 700 Credits to craft
Titanium White = 1000 Credits to craft
All other paints = 900 Credits to craft
Exotic Blueprints:
Unpainted/Burnt Sienna = 700 Credits to craft
Titanium White = 1000 Credits to craft
All other paints = 900 Credits to craft
Exotic Special Edition Blueprints:
Unpainted/Burnt Sienna= 700/1100 Credits to craft
Titanium White = 1000/1400 Credits to craft
All other paints = 900/1300 Credits to craft
Black Market Blueprints:
Unpainted/Burnt Sienna = 2000 Credits to craft
Titanium White = 2500 Credits to craft
All other paints = 2200 Credits to craft
As you can tell a lot of these Blueprints cost more to craft than they’re actually worth which leaves this question.
In this list, we will be going through every Blueprint that actually is worth more than its crafting cost meaning if you owned one you’d actually make a profit.
Decals
Car Bodies
Wheels
Boosts
Goal Explosions
So these are all the items where their value exceeds crafting cost. So before you write off your Blueprints as worthless be sure to check if you have any of these!
