When starting Rocket League trading you may feel like everyone is speaking a different language.
If you’re struggling to keep up with the Rocket League trading slang then this article is perfect because we will be explaining words like “Nty,Wyw,Ncvr” and many more!
“Ty” means “Thank You” most traders will say this after they complete a trade with another user. Saying “Ty” after every trade is considered good manners and is a habit everyone should get into.
You may have guessed it already based on the previous acronym but “Nty” means “No Thank You” traders will often say it when you’ve given an offer and they don’t think your offer is worth enough. It’s usually a hint that they want you to add more to your offer.
This stands for “What You Want” this is often used when you list multiple items for sale and someone gets interested but doesn't specify which item they want.
Once again this expression is similar to “WYW” but instead, it means “What You Got”. This term is often used when you're just casually trading with a user so you ask “WYG” to see if they have any items you may be interested in.
“Unc” = “Uncommon”. When using this term it's regarding a type of rarity of the item. Let’s use Black Dieci Wheels as an example. You can get two versions of them, Uncommon and Exotic. Exotic is worth slightly more so it’s important to specify if it’s Unc or Exotic.
“Exo” Simply refers to the item rarity “Exotic”. It’s important to specify the rarity of an item as some items can come as Uncommon or Exotic and Exotic is usually worth more which you’ll want to know when selling.
“Nc” means Non-Crate. The reason some traders specifically look for Non-Crate items is due to the fact that non-crate items can be transferred and traded on different platforms.
“NCR” Means Non-Crate Rare, non-crate items can be traded up in Rocket League so some people are specifically searching for these items.
“NCVR” Means Non-Crate Very Rare, these types of items can be traded up into imports such as painted Octanes meaning many people like to buy NCVR to test their trade-up luck.
“NCI” Means Non-Crate Import. These types of imports can be traded up to Exotic Wheels. Usually, “NCI” is worth similar to “NCVR” Items.
“Nce” means Non-Crate Exotic. 5 Noncrate exotics can be used to trade up a Black Market such as Dissolver or Dueling Dragons. This possibility makes NC Exotics the most expensive unpainted item.
“RP” simply is short for Rocket Pass. There is a new rocket pass every Rocket League season where you can level up through the tiers unlocking some cool items and perks.
“RLCS” is short for Rocket League Champion Series which is the largest Rocket League tournament. If you watch these tournaments on Twitch you can actually get dropped items for viewing. These items that get dropped are called “RLCS Items”.
The term “BMD” represents the best type of Rocket League rarity. Better known as “Black Market Decal”. BMDs are universal Decals that can be equipped to your car like a sticker.
“BMGE” represents Black Market Goal Explosion which is the rarest type of Goal Explosion in Rocket League.
